50th anniversary

September 1 is my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Wow 50 years, that is a long time. I have been working on a scrapbook of 50 years, that has been a fun project. One of the funniesst things I did for that was have each of my parents write up how they got engaged, sooooo funny, they don't match up at all, I can't wait to hear what they say when they read them.

Summer Slush!!

After a fun filled family evening at Cherry Hill we needed to sneak in one more summer activity hitting the snow shack. We found this super fun one in Farmington. Kristin, Telly and Macee came with us. What a fun way to spend a summer Friday night!!

Little Buckaroo

Thursday is the Little Buckaroo Rodeo. This is a really fun/funny night. Dakoda did the stick barrell races and we all had a good time watching the other kids do fun rodeo events, ate hamburgers, nachos and whatever other treats we could get our hands on!!

Kid K

Wednsday's fun activity for Country Fair Days is the Kid K fun run. Logan has done this 1 mile kids race for the last 2 years and this year Dakoda got to do it too. We were really proud of Logan he ran the entire race this time and Dakoda did the whole thing, we just had to take a couple of walking breaks. She wanted to get in the stroller with Oliver a couple of time, but we worked through it and she did the whole thing on foot!! Good Job Kids!!

"Little Miss" Dakoda

The week of South Weber Country Fair Days is always a super busy, yet super fun time!! This year Dakoda got to be in the little Miss pagent. She had so much fun learning a dance and getting to wear a beautiful dress on the stage. Unfortunatly the weather didn't cooperate very well this year, of course the only year they have had it outside, and it rained on us like crazy and being South Weber we couldn't get alon without a bunch of wind too. Dakoda didn't get drawn out this year for the winners, but her cousin Loryn did and that was fun too. What a fun way to start off the week of fun.

For the Logan and Dakoda's birthdays this year we rode the Front Runner to Gatway in Salt Lake and let the kids do a Build a Bear. We had a lot of fun. Dakoda 3 and Logan 6
