Day 10
The next morning we got all loaded up and set off on a VERY long ride home!!! We just plugged on through and made it all the way home. Thank heavens for portable DVD players!! We had such a good time, it was a nice distraction from the count down to baby. We are all ready looking forward to when we can go again.

New thought....I just scheduled to have our baby next Thursday morning March 12 (if I haven't had him on my own by then).

Day 9
The next morning we got up and ate breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. This was really fun!! Dakoda actually surprised me here, I thought she would be scared of the dressed up characters, but she loved them!! As soon as we told Logan we were going to Disneyland he asked if Goofy lived there and if he could see him, so that was really fun for him. Again the characters are so cute and funny. Towards the end of the meal we got the kids a dish of ice cream and Dakoda was so funny when the characters came by for some reason she was guarding her ice cream and telling them not to take it. I guess she didn't think ice cream for breakfast was allowed.

Day 8
After Sea World we got the kids in their jammies and drove the rest of the way to Anaheim. The next day was Sunday, so we decided to take a break. We went to church with some friends of Telly's then just hung out at their house. It was actually a really great fun day. They next morning we got up at headed to California Adventures!! The weather was so so great!! The lines going into Disneyland vs. CA Adventures was crazy, there were less than half as many going into CA adventures. Needless to say we had a super great day!! We got on all the rides very very quickly and even got to see the super cute Pixar Parade.
The little girls couldn't go on Soaring Over California, so we hung out with Mater and Lightning Mcqueen while Nate, Logan, Telly and Kristin went on the ride. The girls thought this was fun.

We had lunch this day at Ariel's Grotto with all the princesses. I wasn't quite sure how Logan was going to feel about this, but he was actually very cute and thought it was fun to have the princesses sign his autograph book and to talk to them. The princesses are very animated and really are in their character. I asked Logan when we were done which princess he liked best and he said Belle because she had a yellow dress and he likes yellow. Dakoda just thought the whole thing was fun to see the girls pretty dresses and talk to them.

Day 7
The next day we got up, drove about 3 more hours and spent the day at Sea World. The kids loved the Shamu and dolphin shows. They also had fun touching some of the sea creatures in some of the water. One of the coolest things were the Panguins in the snow and Logan, Nate and Telly got to go on a simulated helicopter ride that Logan thought was really cool.

Day 6
Here will be a day-by-day account of our last minute road trip to California. After a long time of planning (like 1 week) we decided to take advantage of some great military offers for Sea World and Disneyland tickets and a free place to stay and took off for California!! The kids were soooo excited, even though they really didn't know what they were in for, it was very exciting to go on a trip.
Everyone has to have a picture in the BIG chair at the gas station in Beaver. The kids thought this was very funny!!
